Area Sales Manager (Aviation Tires)
Responsibilities:
1. Expand sales growth at new and existing accounts for new and retreaded aviation tires through all of the following distribution channels: Commercial Airlines, General Aviation, Military / Government, Airframe Manufacturers;
2. Manage all account activities that are necessary to protect the interests of the business and maintain and grow sales;
3. Have regular account contact and communication interface, work with key purchasing, engineering and maintenance, accounts payable personnel, etc. at all levels;
4. Develop and execute an annual sales plan that targets share of market growth in all sales channels within the assigned region;
5. Produce and update on a monthly basis the adequate forecast pertaining the region need;
6. Analyze the competition and the market place in the region;
7. Execute administrative and logistic follow up on the orders in cooperation with the Customer Service department;
8. Coordinate/liaise with product support personnel to check that appropriate service support and correct tire care & maintenance are executed,
9. Conduct fleet surveys and product performance and make sure quality issues are addressed promptly;
10. Visit customers and prospect customers on a regular basis and at short notice when required.
